I'm looking for advice as to what version of vCenter I should install. The latest 5.0.X version on the latest 5.1.X version.
Being a new environment, I really didn't give it much thought and just assumed I would go with vCenter 5.1.0b but after researching a bit more, I am a little spooked by the install complications some people are reporting for vCenter 5.1.0b.
I happen to be on a pretty tight timeline for this new installation (a couple weeks) and need to determine if it makes sense for me to install this version. Can anyone familiar with both versions offer guidance or comment. I'm new to 5.x but, have extensive experience building and supporting 3.x and 4.X environments. I've never had a complaint about the vCenter install processes. All have generally been straight forward and gone as smooth as I could have hoped for.
