After purging Database with Articel number #1025914 , the SQL database transaction log is now filling up and halting vCenter Server Service. The vCenter DB currently runs on a SQL Server 2005 Express instance, therefore database size is limited. Prior to following the steps outlined in the KB ariticle, the transaction log filling up was not an issue, now it must be shrunk on a daily basis. Perhaps after running the script, circular logging was turned off? Previously, the maximum size the trans log could grow to was 500MB, have increased the max size to 1.5 GB and it continues to try to exceed that thus halting vCenter server
