Hello,
I have a problem with the vCenter Users.
Our environment: 2 ESX 5.1 hosts, physical vCenter 5.1, 2 domain controller virtualised, 1 UPS
The UPS is configured to shut down ESX hosts 10 minutes after electricity failure.
First it shut down all VMs at the same time and after it it should shut down the ESX hosts.
This fails because in the UPS software the user admin@domain is used.
Am I right that I can solve this problem by creating a non-domain user in vCenter for the UPS to shut down the hosts?
If yes, how do I create a new user in vCenter and what permissions does the user need for shuting down the hosts?
Regards
Chris
