Is it correct that multisite mode only really exists to provide faster local site access to a SSO server and if access to the primary SSO server is lost then both vCenter servers are affected even though there’s a working SSO server at the site of a vCenter?
- Site A (DR) - Has a single vCenter Server and SSO server installed in primary mode (using linked mode)
- Site B (Prod) - Has a single vCenter Server and SSO server installed in multisite mode
Example: If Site A (DR) is lost, then even though there is a vCenter and a SSO server at site A, access will be affected as the primary SSO server at Site A is not contactable? This doesn’t sound right?
