login through console on vCenter Server Appliance

I just deployed a vCenter OVA file and when it boots it's looking for a DHCP address. However, there is no DHCP on this network and the I don't have any 'Network' choice when the vm starts in the console. Just a Login option. However, the root account won't even accept an attempt and spits out 'Login Incorrect' immediately without any option for a password. The 'admin' account asks for a password but nothing like 'vmware', 'admin', etc work.

How can I login via the command line to change the networking to use a static IP? It says to login via the https interface but because it didn't get a DHCP address it just says login in at https://0.0.0.0:5480.

Any way I can login through the command line to set the IP?
