Hi all
I have tried upgrading a vCenter server from 5.0U1 to 5.1 and installation fails in the first step. I receive a "Error 20010.Failed to configure LookupService" error.
I am running English version of Windows 2008R2 and English version of SQL2008R2 Standard.
This is a working vcenter installation and thankfully, the installer rollback left everything in working conditions.
I have found references to this 20010 error with Turkish language installs of the OS, which is not the case. I have also tried specifying the sql server using both ip address, FQDN and localhost, with same results.
Has anyone experienced the same problem?
