Hello,
I'm using vSphere Syslog Collector integrated with vCenter source file.
The vSphere Syslog Collector server is a different server than my vCenter VM.
I made the default vSphere Syslog Collector installation (2 Mb log file, with 8 rotation)
My ESXi hosts are configured, and everything is running well
Now I would like to increase log retention because 8 rotation is too low for my infrastructure. How can I do that ?
I try using the vSphere client (with syslog plugin enabled) but I can see only a summary of the syslogs settings and a list of connected host, it seems I cannot modify anything this way
It try to find something on the server on wich vSphere Syslog Collector is installed (ie Windows Server 2003 64bits) but nothing is available in start menu, or control panel (I can only see vSphere Syslog Collector in "Add/Remove programs")
so, how to (re)configure vSphere Syslog Collector ?
