Folders/Files not visible in Datastore during VM creation

Have a strange one.. (well, if it wasn't it would be solved)

Installation config:

    vCenter 4.1

    Hosts are ESXi 4.1

All users are authenticated via AD

Normal users have read-only access at Datacenter level (propagating)

Normal users then have browse, file allocate, and low level file acces at the Datastore (propagating)

Normal users have access at Folder and Resource pool levels to create VMs (propagating)

Admins have full access on everything (propagating)

Senerio:

This happens with both normal users and admins.

During the creation of a new Virtual machine, if the opition "Edit the virtual machine setting before completion" is selected, the user is not able to view files or folders on the Datastore when they browse to find a "Datastore ISO file".  They can see the datastore, but not any of the contents.

The VM is creation can be completed without mounting an ISO file. After the VM is created, the ISO can be mounted without any problems using the "Edit Settings" option.

Thoughts?
